Who is KH Properties?
KH Properties is a multifamily owner and operator with apartment communities across South Carolina, Illinois, Missouri, and Mississippi. We focus on well-kept apartments, responsive maintenance, and a simple, fast leasing process.
Where are your apartment communities located?
We have communities in the Greenville, SC area, the Metro East and St. Louis area across Illinois and Missouri, and the Jackson, MS area. Visit our Communities page to see current availability and find the community nearest you.
How do I apply for an apartment?
Find the community you’re interested in, go to that community’s website, pick your floor plan, and click Apply. The application takes about 15 minutes, and most decisions come back within 1 to 2 business days. We can often pre-approve you in as little as 15 minutes.
How much are the application fee and security deposit?
These vary by community and state. You’ll find the exact application fee and deposit details on each community’s own FAQ page.
What is the Amenity Fee and what’s included?
Most communities include a monthly Amenity Fee that bundles services like internet, package handling, pest control, 24-hour emergency maintenance, and parking. What’s included and the amount vary by community, so check that community’s FAQ page for the specifics.
Do you accept Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8)?
It depends on the community and its location. Some of our communities participate and some do not. Check the FAQ page for the specific community you’re interested in, or reach out to that community directly.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. All of our communities are pet-friendly. Dogs and cats are welcome, up to 2 pets with a 40 lb max each. A one-time pet fee of $350 per apartment applies at move-in, plus $40 per month per pet. All pets complete our PetScreening process. Service and assistance animals are always accommodated as required by law.
How do I pay rent?
Rent is paid through your online resident portal. We accept e-check (free), debit card, and credit card, and auto-pay is available. We don’t accept cash, paper checks, or money orders.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
Submit maintenance requests any time through your online resident portal. For after-hours emergencies, use the emergency contact information on your community’s Contact Us page.
Is renter’s insurance required?
Yes. Renter’s insurance is required for the length of your lease at all of our communities. It’s typically $10 to $20 a month. You can submit proof of your own policy or purchase one through your resident portal.
How do I schedule a tour or get in touch?
Each community has its own Contact Us page with tour scheduling and contact details. Same-day tours are available in some cases. Find your community on our Communities page to get started.
