Fall is upon the beautiful Chehalem Valley. We had a long warm Summer that seemed to last forever. There were record breaking temperatures along with our usual perfect sunny 80 something degree days that make us remember yet again why we are blessed to live here. The rain has finally arrived and that is what keeps things lush, green and gorgeous in this part of the Northwest. The warm Indian Summer should provide some amazing vintages this year from our many wineries... something else to look forward to.
While one might tire of the Oregon's Winter weather you always know that right around the corner is a spectacular Spring! The trees and surrounding vineyards will start leafing out, the fruit trees will gather their lovely blossoms. Our many vineyards will start preparation for the 2010 crop and prepare to host the tens of thousands of visitors to our beautiful area.
