Summer 2026 Across the KH Properties Portfolio: What's New This Season

Summer 2026 is one of the busiest seasons we've had across the KH Properties portfolio. 16 communities, 13 community websites, and approximately 2,980 units — and the entire team is in full move-in mode. Here's what's new this season across the markets.

South Carolina

Augusta Road Apartments — our pet-free Greenville community — sees strong summer interest from graduate students and professionals who specifically want a quieter, walkable community. Augusta Road is in Greenville County Schools.

Missouri (St. Louis)

Three St. Louis-metro communities: Westport Crossing Apartments (St. Ann) and Westport Edge Apartments (Maryland Heights) share the Pattonville R-III School District (top 6-8% nationally). Greenway Trail Apartments in the Carondelet neighborhood of South St. Louis remains the portfolio leader for in-unit washer/dryer demand.

Illinois Metro East

Across our five Metro East communities — Metro Apartments at Bethalto, Metro Apartments at Wood River, Green Door Apartments (Belleville/Scott AFB), Metro Apartments at Collinsville, and Metro Apartments at Granite City — summer tends to mean PCS season at Green Door (Scott AFB-adjacent) and Riverbend recreation across the rest of the cluster. Metro Apartments at Granite City 2 is on track to open late 2026.

Mississippi (Jackson)

All three Pines properties — The Pines at 55, The Pines at Autumn Woods, and The Pines at Manhattan — are newly remodeled apartments with introductory pricing available for early move-ins.

Updated Illinois deposit policy (effective June 24, 2026)

Illinois state law is changing fee disclosures this summer. To stay ahead of the change, our 5 Illinois communities are moving to a simpler deposit policy effective June 24, 2026: no Admin Fee, and a security deposit set by credit score. Stop by any IL property site or talk to a leasing team member for details.
